First, a little fun fact. Did y’all know this place is owned by one of the richest investors in the world? Yes, you guessed right. It is owned by my man, Mr. Warren Buffett. Apparently, he bought it from the owner and has been expanding the business ever since.

Why is that not surprising?!

I have to take a moment to appreciate Mr. Buffett … can you imagine the employment opportunities that provides for Dallas residents?! Bravo Mr. Buffett, Bravo!

This location of this establishment is at 5600 Nebraska Furniture Mart Drive in Colony, Texas 75056. This 560,000 square foot retail showroom is designed to help you find the home furnishings you need to improve your lifestyle.

OMG this place is hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee­eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee­eee y’all. It is so gigantic that I could not fit the entire facility into a single frame…. and… wait for it, it is still being expanded upon.

Upon entering the facility, I was immediately captivated by the inspiring words. As a Words of Affirmation person, it was very hard for me to ignore those. It spoke to me as I found them motivating, uplifting and inspiring to say the least.

Think of anything and everything you could ever need in a home, office, dorm, you”ll find it here. Asides from the having a large selection of furniture, you can equally find accessories, kitchen appliances, televisions, computers, workout gadgets, carpet, hard surface flooring and much more.

Yes, that is indeed true. There is no appointment needed for a massage. You simply have to wait your turn. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait too long as it was a Sunday but I heard it is a much longer wait on week nights.

Trust me, hubby was as stoked as I was…. I am just a bit more expressive. Hahahaha.

I would recommend you try one or two of the massage chairs. #Highlightofmytrip

They have a very huge sale section and it was very very affordable. I will recommend you shop there first before checking out the rest of the store. Also, they have layaway and financing options available.

5 things I loved most about this place:

• The way items where showcased in a subtle way; I call it reverse marketing. LOL
• How sales representatives were not too much in my face. It gave me room to roam freely
• You can easily spend half a day here; perfect way to get your steps in
• You can try appliances, games and workout machines
• Most importantly, you can get free massage(s) for as long as you like

What I didn’t like: 

The only downside is that this store isn’t in the Midwest. I am a visual person and for that reason, I would rather see what I am purchasing. Plus, with online shopping, the options, discount and negotiating is far limited.

Also, if you did find something you like that is affordable and you need to have it shipped, I honestly dont think it will be worth it at the end of the day.

For this reasons, I ended up not being able to purchase anything I liked (which were many) as we love to travel light. I did however enjoy the time spent and the massage.
